Create Interactive Lessons with Deck.Toys…in minutes!

JuneJune

Teachers are seeking solutions for easy-to-create online lessons that can bridge the gap during the period of mandatory distance learning while maintaining high engagement levels in class. With Deck.Toys, you can create amazingly interactive lessons… in minutes! Let’s check it out!

Step 1: Drag and Drop your existing lessons

Pull out your existing Powerpoint, PDF or Google Slides from your desktop folder. Simply drag and drop these files directly into the Deck Builder and the file gets converted into editable slides to inject interactivity! Not only that, you can move these files around the Map to the sequence you require to create that perfect lesson adventure.

Step 2: Supercharge with Slide Apps

Now that you have your Slides in Deck.Toys editable format, it’s time to add in a whole bunch of interactive Slide Apps!

Response Apps allows you to get immediate, real-time feedback from your students once they click and submit their responses. Choose between the Text, Draw, Placemarker, Quick Poll, Photo, Upload, MCQ, Drag n Drop and Jigsaw Slide Apps.

Our amazing nowhere-else-to-be-found apps are in the Supercharge selection. Use the Lock App, Treasure Key App, Checkpoint App and Gauntlet App to make your lesson highly unforgettable!

Step 3: Gamify with Study Set Games

Once you are done with Slide Activities, it’s time to put a few study sets in, and let Deck.Toys auto-magically transform these study sets into fun Study Set Games

Put a Flashcard game to show the basic learning concepts of your lessons, then layer on with additional games on the same study set like ‘Sort Me’ and the ubiquitous ‘Maze’ to drum in the lesson in a fun way! Your students would have so much fun going through the plethora of games that you configured for them that they won’t even realize they are actually studying!

Step 4: Set Paths to lead into your Lesson Adventure

You now have to link up your Slide Activities and Study Set Games with Paths, and make it look like a proper Lesson Adventure! Set up your Entry Point correctly, usually a Signpost with a good introduction to your lesson and you are ready to head to Step 5!

Step 5: Get real-time responses

Finally, assign your deck to a Deck.Toys Classroom and share this Classroom URL to your students. Once they are logged in using their Google/Microsoft accounts (or even as Guest Students), you can track their progress in real-time via the Teacher’s View. Toggle between Free Mode to allow student-paced exploration, and Teacher Sync mode to control your lesson.

Ready, set, go!

You are now ready for some super-hyped up student engagement! Your students will absolutely love your lesson adventure and cannot wait to ‘play’ again!
